Application

Once job postings are published, you can apply for them.

As a general rule, job postings for apprenticeships, dual study programs, and trainee programs are published approximately one to one and a half years before the planned start date.

All other positions are advertised on an ad hoc basis and often include a preferred start date. During the recruitment process, you will have the opportunity to discuss your specific starting date.

After successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email and an application reference number.

You can view the current status of your application in your Career Cockpit.
The processing time for an application can vary significantly depending on the job posting, the number of applications received, and the current stage of the recruitment process. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to provide specific timelines.

If your application is listed as "Submitted" and is currently being processed, but you have an urgent question, please contact the recruiter or contact person from your previous correspondence. If you have not yet been assigned a contact person, you can reach us using the help form.

Please use PDF files whenever possible. Individual files must not exceed 3 MB and all attachments together must not exceed 10 MB. If the upload fails, save the document again as a PDF and try once more.

Please check the file size (max. 3 MB per file, in total max. 10 MB), format, and file name. Special characters in file names may cause issues. Converting the document to PDF again may also help.

Yes. Simply reply to the most recent email from your recruiter and attach the missing documents.

Applications may be automatically deleted if required online tests or documents are not completed within the specified deadline communicated in the confirmation or reminder e-mail.

Unfortunately, automatically deleted applications cannot be restored. However, you may submit a new application if the vacancy is still active.

If your application was rejected or you withdrew it, you may not immediately reapply for the same position, but you can do so after one year.
For applications for apprenticeship positions, a waiting period of 180 days applies.
This period is intended to give you sufficient time to further develop your qualifications and skills, increasing the likelihood that a future application will better match the requirements of the advertised position.
