Online test
The language of your online assessment, the language used in your account, and our communication with you are generally based on the preferred communication language you selected during your application.
If you would like to change the language from German to English, or vice versa, before completing your online assessment, please log in to your account and select your preferred language in the white menu located in the upper right corner of the page footer.
Once you have changed the language setting and opened the online assessment, it will be displayed in the language currently selected in your account.
Depending on the job you apply for, different online assessments may be required, or none at all.
The selection of online assessments is tailored to the requirements of the respective position. For example, a numerical reasoning test may be appropriate and necessary for roles where working confidently with numbers is part of everyday work, such as Controlling or Accounting.
After submitting your application, you can view an overview of any required assessments in your Career Cockpit under your application(s) in the "To Complete" section.
Please note that some positions may not require any online assessments at all. If you have already completed the assessments required for a particular application as part of a previous application, you do not need to take them again. In this case, we will use your existing results.
This is because, with the exception of language assessments, these tests measure general abilities rather than learned or practiced knowledge. When evaluating language assessment results, potential improvement over time is, of course, taken into consideration.
