Visible piercings are not permitted with the exception of discreet ear rings.
Tattoos must not be visible. If a tattoo is in a place that is not covered by a short-sleeved blouse/shirt or skirt/dress, it may only be a small tattoo (guideline: approx. 2cm) and must be completely covered while on duty (if possible by using alternative uniform parts such as a long-sleeved shirt instead of a short-sleeved shirt or pants instead of a skirt/dress).
If the tattoo cannot be covered by uniform parts, it must be covered in such a way that neither the tattoo nor the covering (e.g. camouflage make-up) are noticeable.
No plasters are allowed to cover the tattoo. Regardless of size, a tattoo must not be visible in the head, neck, décolleté or hand area.
