Employment contract and working conditions

Yes, as you will receive an employment contract, you will be covered by social insurance from the first day of training.

Currently, we offer both full-time and part-time employment. If you choose part-time, you must work a minimum of 30 hours per week for the first 3 months. After three months, you have the option to further reduce your hours (minimum of 18 hours per week in Frankfurt, minimum of 24 hours per week in Munich).

During the 6-month training period, the basic salary for full-time employment is €2,611.74, and after the training period, the basic salary increases to €2,770.10. In addition, there are tax-free shift allowances for working on Sundays (50%), holidays and pre-holidays (25% or 50% plus 100% time off), night shift bonus (20:00-06:00) 25%, (00:00-04:00) 40% when starting work before 24:00.

The basic salary increases every two years by an increment of €91.36 according to the collective agreement.

Yes, you will receive annual holiday pay, which is paid with the salary in May. With the salary in November, you will receive Christmas bonus. If you start the employment in the current calendar year, the entitlement is accrued proportionally. You will also receive a profit-sharing payment according to the valid collective agreement (consisting of a corporate and a business unit part). In part-time employment, the respective payment is reduced according to the proportion of working hours.

You have 30 days paid leave.

The duty roster will be published on the 18th of the precious month in Frankfurt, and on the 20th of the previous month in Munich.

No, there are no fixed duty rosters. They are regularly reorganized in a rotating schedule. There are generally early, middle, and late shifts. Please note that we cannot guarantee fixed work days and times.

As part of the flexible annual working time model, you have the opportunity to block fixed days in your work schedule. Additionally, there is the possibility to specify preferred time slots. Please note, however, that this is only a request and may not always be accommodated.

As a Passenger Service Professional, you can pursue a part-time education. However, a guarantee of release from your duties cannot be provided.
