General Questions

Depending on your interest, you will initially be trained in the areas of Check-in/Gate, Ticketing, or Lost & Found (baggage tracing). Later, there is the opportunity to get to know the other areas as part of a cross-qualification. Regardless of the area you choose: it is important to us that you enjoy being a host and are eager to provide our guests with a special experience throughout their entire ground travel journey.

After initially being trained in one area (Check-in/Gate or Ticketing or Lost & Found), you have the opportunity for cross-qualification, depending on operational needs, after about a year. Additionally, you have the opportunity to become a coach or participate in projects at the station. In the operational area, the next career steps are Passenger Service Coordinator and Passenger Service Manager. Furthermore, you can apply for other areas (e.g. administration) within the Lufthansa Group through internal job postings.

We currently only train our Passenger Service Professionals in Germany. However, if you create a job subscription on https://lufthansagroup.careers/de, you may receive other interesting job offers for your desired location abroad when there is a need for personnel in that region.
