Flight Attendant (m/f/diverse) – Training

Please note that the answers only apply to applications to become a Flight Attendant (m/f/diverse) for Deutsche Lufthansa AG at their Frankfurt and Munich locations.

Currently we do not have any entry-level opportunities as a Purser at Lufthansa.

You will receive a qualification lasting several weeks. However, Flight Attendant is not a state-recognized training occupation according to the Vocational Training Act (BBiG).

You have the opportunity, after a total of 4 years of professional experience in the service sector, to complete the part-time further training to become a specialist consultant for service management (IHK). With this state-recognized qualification and subsequent internal qualification, you can train to become a flight attendant with a service management profile (SMP). This opens further career opportunities and higher pay levels for you.
