This error occurs when your computer blocks pop-up windows. Therefore, please ensure that settings that are used to block pop-ups are deactivated in your browser. You may also need to deactivate other types of security software (i.e. firewall, anti-virus programs) that also prevent pop-ups.
You can find the pop-up window blocking options in your browser generally under "Extras" (Internet Explorer) or "Settings".
If the error still occurs please check again whether the pop-up blocking settings in your anti-virus software have been properly deactivated, check under "Settings" or "Configurations".

Please take note of the system requirements! If you need to complete online tests, please ensure that your computer has all the system requirements before you get started. These include the current macromedia Flash player (www.adobe.com) as well as activating the JavaScript in your browser. The Online Tests are optimized for the Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Mozilla Firefox browsers. Problems may arise when using other browser types.

Please ensure that the pop-up blocker in your browser along with any virus protection programs or other such restrictions, are deactivated.
JavaScript must be activated.
You also need a Flash plug-in upwards of version 6.
If you are completing the tests on a laptop, we suggest that you attach an external mouse.

Once you have transmitted your application, we then check whether you fulfill all the necessary functional requirements. If this is the case and if the position requires online tests, then your will receive a request to take part in your Career Cockpit. This is why you should regularly check the Status page of your Career Cockpit for possible updates.
If you have already completed the tests required for this application for a previous application, you do not need to do the tests again. Once your test results have been received, we can use them for new applications, as they are meant to provide a view of your general skills rather than acquired knowledge.

With our online testing we do not want to determine who the best applicants are, but rather we want to find out whether you fulfill the minimum requirements for a certain position.
However, since you usually don’t know what the number of required exercises for a certain position is, you should always try to complete as many exercises as possible.
As a rule of thumb, you can expect that for most positions it is already sufficient to have completed half of the exercises. For most tests, the threshold is actually even much lower.

We do not use a time limit to check whether you can deal with stressful situations, but rather for reasons of method. Without a time limit all applicants would solve all the exercises correctly and would therefore all have the same results. The test would then be pointless.
It is absolutely normal that you are unable to complete all the exercises within the given time limit. Generally, online tests are set up so that most applicants can complete approximately half of the exercises.

You can’t interrupt an online test once you have started it.
In most cases the individual tests only last a maximum of 15 minutes.
Please ensure that you aren’t disturbed while you are taking the tests.
For some positions several tests are required.
You don’t need to take all the tests at the same time.
On the contrary we suggest that you take a break between the individual tests.
Once you have started the application process you will have 10 days to complete your application and the required tests.
We don’t check how long it took you to complete all the tests as a whole.

If you do not receive a request to carry out the online tests then you have either completed tests during a previous application that were relevant to this application, or no test is required for this job or you do not fulfill the functional requirements for this position. In this case please carefully review the job requirements and/or the completeness of your entered data. If necessary, add to or correct your entries.

Depending on which position you have applied for we test your capabilities in the areas of numerical reasoning, linguistic thinking, analytical comprehension and complex thought, work situations or by way of an English test. In all our tests procedures we only examine that which is stated in the title of the test, we do not use "trick" questions.

We believe that online tests are not ideal to assess many types of social competencies such as friendliness or team capability.
These requirements are for example assessed by us in interviews, role plays, or group discussions. In these cases we specifically do not use online testing.
We have also completely renounced online personality tests.

Ensure that you will be undisturbed and not distracted when taking the online tests. The best thing to do is to turn off your mobile and landline telephones.
Complete the tests at the time of the day when you feel freshest.

Try to solve the exercises quickly but also carefully.
However, in order to not increase your margin for oversights, do not work any faster than you were used to at school or university.
This could lower your overall results since as a rule false answers are subtracted from the total number of correct answers.
The Online Test Training under the "About your application" heading gives you an ideal opportunity to practice online tests both anonymously and without obligation and to find your own optimal working pace.

If you did not complete the tests within the 10 day time limit then your application is considered as not submitted. You may however resubmit your application as long as the job posting is still active. The data you had previously entered will be pre-entered in the application form.

If you have already completed the tests required for this application for another application, you do not need to do the tests again. Once your test results have been received, we can use them for new applications, as they are meant to provide a view of your general skills rather than acquired knowledge.
